The Blue Cross animal welfare charity is requesting nominations from veterinary practices across the United Kingdom for The Blue Cross Veterinary Nurse Award 2004. It is presented to the veterinary nurse who, in the opinion of the judges, has excelled in educating the public in responsible pet ownership and the welfare of pets in the community.

This prestigious award comes with a £200 cheque and a Waterford crystal animal.

And nominating your favourite Nurse via the VetClick website, means you stand a chance to win one year's free membership including our 'Up And Walking Website' package worth £249 to the first practice drawn who successfully nominates the Blue Cross Veterinary Nurse of the year 2004.

The annual award will take place on Saturday 9 October during the BVNA Annual Congress in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.

If you would like to nominate somebody you feel is worthy of this award, please click here. The closing date for nominations is 15th July 2004.
