There is a rumour that things have been hectic at Vetpol HQ of late; today we can confirm the rumours are true! Two veterinary exclusive sites – Vetpol and Vbay - have been given makeovers in the past few weeks as a consequence of feedback gathered from users of both sites. Vetpol and Vbay been well and truly Gok’d!
Vetpol is an established forum used mainly for the discussions of vet management and business issues. Recently the Home Page has been changed to show the latest news releases and jobs, allowing visitors to keep up-to-date with what is going on in the wider veterinary world. On the forum page, navigation has been made easier, forthcoming CPD events are now clearly visible and a DEFRA news feed has been added.
“This is just the start” says Caroline Johnson, Director of Vetpol Ltd. “Our intention is to add other news feeds, improve functionality and generally continue to improve the site according to the needs of its users. As a result of the recent changes, we have already seen an upturn in visitor numbers and new registrations, which we are of course delighted about!”
Vetpol’s sister site, Vbay.co.uk, is a relatively new development, dedicated to the purposes of veterinary business advertising. It too has undergone a face-lift, giving it a more professional feel in-line with what veterinary professionals expect to see from a site dedicated to buying and selling vet-related products and services.
To judge the make-overs for yourself, log onto www.vetpol.co.uk and www.vbay.co.uk …and remember to give Caroline and Jeremy your feedback; this is essential if both sites are to continue to evolve.1630 views
