The global animal nutraceutical expert is the headline sponsor of the leading industry event

Global animal nutraceutical expert, VetPlus will launch two new products to improve the care of companion animals at the BSAVA Congress this week (21st – 23rd March), as it exhibits as the headline sponsor for the third year in a row.

The manufacturer has been leading the development of nutraceuticals within the veterinary profession for more than 25 years, with over 3,000 veterinary practices across the UK recommending its products.

At BSAVA Congress 2024, VetPlus will share details on the expansion of its popular SUSTAIN® range, with the launch of a new formulation for cats.

SUSTAIN® for Cats will be the first UK veterinary product to contain all three biotics – pre, post, and pro, helping cats to maintain a healthy gastrointestinal bacterial population and supporting the immune system both within the gastrointestinal tract and body wide.

VetPlus is also launching a new GOMEGA® product, GOMEGA® for Cats, with a bespoke airless dispenser that provides the correct dosage for cats, while reducing odour and keeping the product fresh.

GOMEGA® for Cats is a purified source of Omega 3 essential fatty acids that supports cardiovascular health, kidney function, mobility, and joint health.

Both products have been developed by VetPlus’ in-house research and development team, based in its industry leading innovation facility in Lytham.

To find out more about VetPlus and their suite of animal nutraceuticals, veterinary professionals can visit the team at stand C901 where a selection of canapes and cocktails will be on offer alongside live music.

David Haythornthwaite, chairman of VetPlus, said: “The BSAVA Congress is one of the most significant events in the veterinary industry, bringing the best clinical expertise from around the world together and we are proud to be the headline sponsor for the third year in a row.

“Local, independent vets are at the heart of absolutely everything we do and we’re passionate about working with practices to ensure we provide the products required to help deliver the very best care for animals.

“We are always looking to network with more vets and veterinary professionals from around the world to discuss how we can support them. Please come and visit us if you’re attending and meet our expert team to find our more.”

Attendees can also hear more about VetPlus innovations in talks from a number of VetPlus partners throughout the event. Dr Cecilia Villaverde Haro will present a talk on ‘MCTS’ and their use in clinical practice on Thursday 21st, while Dr Rachel James will deliver a two-part session on the ‘Basics of Eggs’ across Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd.
