Vets Now is inviting vets who graduated between 2006 – 2009 to attend the ‘Cutting Edge’ webinar which it will host on Thursday 12th August at 8pm. The one hour webinar will focus on the content of the 10 week fast-track training programme and will be presented by Vets Now Clinical Director and ECC Diplomate Amanda Boag. The appropriately named ‘Cutting Edge’ initiative, referencing the fast paced and “on the edge” nature of Emergency and Critical Care, is the first training programme of its kind in the UK and will see 40 young, dynamic graduates who graduated between 2006 and 2009 recruited into an 10 week fast track training programme before they take up their permanent Veterinary Surgeon positions in a Vets Now clinic. Vets Now has received a steady stream of applications since the initiative launched less than two weeks ago and is hosting the webinar to give anyone joining the Cutting Edge programme a real insight into what training will entail and what to expect from the programme and a position working as a Veterinary Surgeon in a Vets Now clinic. Interviews and selection will take place on the 25th & 26th of this month at two selection centres across the UK with the first intake of 20 recruits commencing their fast track training programme on 4 October and taking up their positions in a Vets Now clinic in December. Vets wishing to attend the webinar should email [email protected] to register their interest. Graduates who are interested in applying for a place on the ‘Cutting Edge’ training programme should contact the Vets Now recruitment team on 01383 841181 or email [email protected].
