The new surgery is owned and managed by Vet and Nurse Joint Venture Partners Catherine Roach and Craig Colbert and sits within one of the longest standing Pets At Home outlets which originally opened its doors in November 1996. The merger of the two vet groups Vets4Pets and Companion Care back in April 2013 has resulted in the group becoming the largest branded veterinary group in the UK as well as the fastest growing. “This milestone adds to an already amazing timeline that shows perfectly how the business has evolved and developed over the years. A big thank you to all of our colleagues and of course our Joint Venture Partners and their teams, without whom we would not have been able to achieve this fantastic milestone. Both the practice and the store look great and I wish Cat, Craig and the store team all the best.” Sally Hobson, CEO of Vets4Pets and Companion Care The new practice opening ties in with the £295,000 revamp of the store, creating eight new jobs, bringing the total number of people employed at the store to more than 18, across a range of full and part time roles. Catherine and Craig now look forward to running their own practice and building their new business. Catherine Roach said about her experience of Vets4Pets; “I am now very much looking forward to running my own practice with Craig and providing excellent care to pets in the Stoke community. For anyone thinking about starting their own practice I would strongly recommend talking to Vets4Pets first. The support you get is great. Vets4Pets have an outstanding track record and really do go out of their way to help during the process, even meeting to discuss progress on a Saturday!”
