Llanrumney Practice opening Emma Hollingworth RVN , Michelle Dagius, Sam Edwards and Tom Butler JVP Tom Butler, who graduated in 2002 from the Royal Veterinary College opened the doors to his brand new practice in Llanrumney, Cardiff over the weekend. The Llanrumney practice is the 3rd Vets4Pets practice to open in Wales and the 6th Vets4Pets practice to open this year. “I’m really excited about opening the doors of my own practice every day, knowing I have the full backing and knowledge of the Vets4Pets support teams as well as working with a team I chose - to strive to help the pets of Llanrumney. The one piece of advice I’d give any fellow veterinary professionals looking to open their own practice is go for it! Trust in Vets4Pets advice!” says Tom. Many Partners join the Vets4Pets family because they know someone who is already running their own successful Joint Venture practice. Tom was referred to the Partnership Team by his former fellow graduates Cees Bennett, Peterborough JVP and Gavin Young, Southend-on-Sea JVP who all qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London. As part of the opening process all our Partners have the opportunity to get involved in their new practice design ensuring that the practice can function in the way the Partner feels best. Tom talks about opening his practice: “The best thing about the process was the ability to be part of every step with expert advice and assistance along the way. It was great to be involved in designing my modern, purpose built practice to my own specifications. I also learned loads about marketing and client service provision which will be vital in the success of my new business”. “For Tom running his own practice is integral to his desire to provide the highest level of patient care and customer services, he likes to treat all his patients as if they were his own pets.” Says Mark Hanson, Tom’s Partner Relationship Manager. If any Veterinary professionals would like to open their own practice like Tom, they can contact the Vets4Pets team on 0800 0280 513 or via email [email protected] for an informal chat.
