Vetstream Launches New Content, Website Platform And Pricing

Vetstream today announced a wealth of new veterinary content, an improved website platform, and pricing model for its flagship Canis, Felis, Equis and Lapis online clinical information services.

The new and improved website, www.vetstream.com, features a range of content that covers all aspects of veterinary care – from drug therapies, surgical procedures, and diagnostic evaluation to staff training – all supported with hundreds of videos, images, x-rays, and MRI scans that are designed to help the veterinarian profession work smarter and engage with their clients more effectively. Vetstream has also introduced a new pricing model that will allow existing or new subscribers to trial any one of Vetstreams’ services for £10 for 10 days.

New Content

Vetstream content is updated weekly and is the largest world-wide electronic resource of updated veterinary information on dogs, cats, rabbits and horses. A selection of new content available on Vetstream includes:
  • Canis: Tibial tuberosity advancement, Osteotomy and Plateau Levelling Osteotomy (TPLO): An in-depth analysis of surgical procedures to improve preparation and ensure that surgery runs smoothly;

  • Felis: Avian Influenza virus: An in-depth analysis of the classification, distribution and significance of avian influenza plus links to PubMed and other resources;

  • Lapis: Therapeutics: antimicrobials: A detailed formulary of drug therapies and protocols including dosage, potential side effects, active ingredients, and contra-indications, helping to optimise research into therapies and help prescribe and administer with confidence; and

  • Equis: Accessory Carpal Fracture: A wealth of X-ray films, MRI scans and ultrasound images to help improve the evaluation of diagnostic images.
New Platform

The new Vetstream Canis, Felis, Equis and Lapis website platform has been transformed to include a new look and feel, new features and an intuitive, easy to use platform including:
  • Direct links to abstracts on PubMed and the full range of VetMedResource content;

  • Search functionality across dog, cat, horse and rabbit species is now accessible from one search tool ;

  • The ‘What’s New’ and ‘Browse’ pages have been combined to offer news and category listings on the homepage; and

  • The new functionality will allow subscribers to reset and choose their own password.

New or existing subscribers to Vetstream can trial any one of Vetstream clinical services for just £10 for 10 days.
