VETAID is hosting a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the roof of Africa, incorporating a Hike up Mount Kilimanjaro with an amazing visit to our Livestock Development Projects on the Maasai Steppe.

In February 2006, you could have the chance to Hike to the summit of Africa’s highest mountain. From cultivated farmlands on the lower levels, the route takes you through lush jungle, alpine meadows and finally across a barren lunar landscape to the summit of Kibo, which is permanently covered in snow. After your hectic climb you can then visit our projects with the Maasai to view indigenous livestock systems. This is a chance for you to achieve your dreams, and raise much needed funds to support our work with disadvantaged communities in Africa.

VETAID will provide you will all the support you need to achieve the £2,950 in sponsorship, including a list of fundraising ideas and access to online sponsorship forms. Further information can be found at this address or from the office on 0131 445 6241.
