Worm Control Comes To Horse Country TV

Vet Essentials, Horse & Country TV’s popular horse health documentary series will be taking an in-depth look at worming in a new programme starting on Friday 4th September. We are giving you the opportunity to take a sneak preview at http://www.horseandcountry.tv/vetessentials so that you can stay a step ahead of any worming questions coming your way after your clients have watched them.
The programme will follow presenter Jenny Rudall on her mission to find out everything a horse owner needs to know about worming, with advice from vets, brought to you in association with Zoetis.
Jenny will be meeting vet Ben Gaskell from Minister Vets for the low down on worm control, before heading off to the Moredun Research Institute in Scotland to meet parasitology experts Jacqui Matthews and Thomas Tzelos. Here she will find out more about the role of faecal worm egg counts, the damage that can be caused by worm burdens and the growing problem of resistance.
The programme will be screened from 4th September 2015 on Horse & Country TV (Sky Channel 253).
