Computer skills: I have a GCSE in ICT, I know how to work Microsoft Office and Open Office. I can use Adobe Photoshop CS2. I understand basic HTML.
Other details: I'm looking for a Vet Nurse Trainee position in your practise. I am just turning seventeen, and I am a very responsible and caring person. I have the right qualifications (GCSE's A-C). I also volunteer at the Blyth Wildlife Rescue Shelter, when I can afford to. I have owned a variety of animals in the past, and currently care for my house rabbit. I have also worked as a pet sitter for two chinchillas. I have a CRB Check, and can provide reference's if needed.
I am very interested in not only the care for the animals, but the science behind the medicine, and animal biology. I am a very eager student who is quick to learn and I'm also very polite and friendly. My school work experience was as a receptionist and I understand that part of a veterinary nurse's position in most practises include reception duties. I have researched greatly into the job as I've been dedicated into becoming a Vet since I was a very young child. I understand that it is a very emotional job, and is not just to 'play with cute fluffy animals'. I am fine handling all species of animals great and small, including lizards, snakes and spiders.
