I am a young enthusiatis individual seeking work with animals, in a trainee position. I have a degree in FdSc Animal Conservation & Biodiversity. However, this also covered modules such as animal science and animal husbandry as well as statistic and business modules.
I have completed a work placement in park view vets in an animal care assistant role, to gain experience.
I am open to any position that would get me into the animal sector. Including trainee animal care assistant and customer care assistant. I have a passion for exotic mammals and keep African pygmy hedgehog. I foster rescues that are looking for homes.
I have also completed a small animal care course at Belexy adult education centre. This covered basics like diet, handling, housing and reproduction of speices commonly kept as pets.
I have excellent customer service skills, having worked in retail currently at a management level for the last 5 years.
