This course is a practical guide for the general practitioner to the correct diagnosis and management of the most frequently diagnosed sarcomas and carcinomas in dogs. The participants will learn through interactive discussion of clinical cases how prognosis for patients affected by these malignant cancers is affected by clinical stage, and how promptly appropriate therapy is instituted, and what therapy is chosen. Multiple treatment options will be discussed for each neoplastic condition, with emphasis on clinical stage, cost of treatment, prognosis and palliative care
