About this course

Do you want to further enhance your clinical ability in fracture management by tackling some of the more complex fractures. This highly practical hands on course will give you the confidence to take the next step.

This lecture and hands-on practical course including cadaver surgery will assist veterinarians in more complex fractures and applying the principles of internal fixation with plates and screws. The course will focus on the more common complex fractures, including the management of non-reconstructible fractures and principles of articular fracture repair. Preoperative planning and common complications will be discussed. This is a highly practical course, which will include plastic bones and surgical training on cadaveric limbs.

Why do this course?
The day is targeted for the veterinary surgeon will experience of basic fracture management looking to further their skills in taking some of the more complex challenges that we will face as orthopaedic surgeons.
