The aim of this course is to cover the principles surrounding sedation and anaesthetic management of the sick and unstable patients that regularly present in general practice. Clinicians can often be hesitant to use anaesthesia or sedation in clinically unstable patients or in patients with chronic medical conditions due to the higher risk involved.
