From familiar diseases such as leptospirosis and lungworm, to emerging diseases like ehrlichiosis and leishmaniosis, infectious diseases are commonly encountered in practice. Each module will provide an overview of the latest information about each disease, and cover how to diagnose and treat these diseases in first opinion practice, with case examples provided throughout. Module 1: Canine and feline aspergillosis. Module 2: Leptospirosis refresher. Module 3: The coughing dog: kennel cough, lungworm or something else? Module 4: Feline infectious disease focus: FIV, FeLV and FIP. Module 5: Vector-borne diseases part 1: leishmaniosis and Lyme disease. Module 6: Vector-borne diseases part 2: ehrlichiosis and babesiosis.
