Dental radiography is one of the most important tools available to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of dental diseases. It is estimated that as much as 70% of pathology can be missed without its use, which is a great disservice to our patients. By working together, vets and vet nurses can quickly obtain diagnostic full mouth dental radiographs in the dog and cat, ultimately leading to time savings. This practical one-day course suitable for both vets and vet nurses is designed to cover all aspects of dental radiography in the dog and cat. Oral radiography techniques will be covered in lecture and group discussion format, with practical sessions on positioning and radiographic technique. Dental radiology (radiographic interpretation) will also be covered for veterinary surgeons attending, while vet nurses will gain extensive hands on experience in generating diagnostic full-mouth dental radiographs.Topics to be covered include:Oral radiography techniques and optimal patient positioningRadiographic assessment is it diagnostic?Radiographic interpretation what does it mean?Practical sessions to consolidate theory SPECIAL OFFERBook both a vet and a vet nurse from the same practice on this course and pay only £450 VAT total COURSE DATE:Friday 11th September 2020COURSE TIME:10.00am - 5.30pmLECTURER:Rachel Perry PRICE:£295.00 VATADDRESS:The Clinical Skills Lab Manor Place,204 Manor Place,Kennington,London.
