This one day course is tailored for veterinary nurses seeking to enhance their proficiency in diagnostic imaging techniques.

Delegates will gain tips and tricks for X-ray positioning, patient considerations for radiography, image processing and the utilisation of advanced imaging modalities such as CT and MRI, which are becoming more prevalent in first opinion practice.

Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical sessions, veterinary nurses will develop the skills necessary to provide comprehensive support in diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and accurate diagnosis.



Topics to be covered include;

X-ray positioning for various anatomical regions - with hands-on practical sessions to master techniques.
Processing and achieving diagnostic images - including troubleshooting when the image goes wrong!
CT and MRI in first opinion practice - fundamentals, increasing knowledge and indications for use.
