The course will discuss the key and contentious issues relating to the creation and implementation of such a parasiticide policy. Emphasis will be placed on the role and importance that each member of the practice team has for the successful implementation of this policy. A concise and simple algorithm to help gather critical information from clients will be provided. The course will include numerous opportunities for hands-on wet lab practical exercises including quantitative faecal egg counts, nematode larval isolation and ectoparasite identification.

Who is it for?

This course is designed for veterinary surgeons with all levels of experience. It will provide invaluable experience for those who are confused about the frequency of deworming and those veterinary surgeons wanting to gain further experience with parasite management strategies and refining their current approaches.
