This one-day course takes a practical approach to the investigation and management of cats with chronic vomiting or diarrhoea using tests and techniques that are widely available in first opinion practice.The course will focus on the common diseases seen in day to day practice and takes a critical look at the tests available to us. Furthermore, we will develop practical approaches to assessing and managing cases where a full diagnostic investigation is either not possible or not practical, to build strategies for effective management of these common problems.Topics to be covered include:Inflammatory bowel disease in all its many guisesCommon gastro-intestinal cancers what can be done?Triaditis: pancreatitis, cholangitis, enteritis unravelling the itisesChronic diarrhoea how to investigate and manage these cases in an affordable way
