The focus of this one-day workshop is to improve interpretation skills for radiographs of the thorax and abdomen in a general practice setting. The programme will consist of a combination of lectures and small group film reading sessions examining and interpreting a variety of thoracic and abdominal radiographic studies. Lectures on the principles of radiological interpretation, along with practical film reading practice will help you maximise the utility of radiology in your practice. You are also welcome to bring along your own cases for discussion.

Learning Outcomes:

Develop an in depth understanding of thoracic and abdominal radiology principles how to obtain thoracic and abdominal radiographs of good diagnostic quality

This workshop is suitable for vets in first opinion practice or those studying for an RCVS CertAVP in small animal surgery.
