This two-day course is designed to be practical and informal, with a short description of each technique followed by working in pairs on cadavers. Nick has been teaching courses at Central CPD for over 10 years and is excited to share practical tips for mastering urinary and perineal surgical procedures.
Topics to be covered include:
Cystotomy and tube cystostomy
Partial cystectomy
Cystopexy
Scrotal urethrostomy
Urethrotomy
Management of urethral prolapse (seen in juvenile Bulldogs)
Anal sacculectomy
Perineal hernia repair
Tail skin flaps for closure of perineal and lower back wounds
Vulvoplasty and episiotomy
