This course is aimed to be a refresher of the common endocrine diseases. It will be divided into the following modules:1. Diabetes mellitus in dogs and cats2. Hyperadrenocorticism in dogs3. Hyperparathyroidism and disorders of calcium4. Hyperthyroidism in cats and hypothyroidism in dogs5. Hypoadrenocorticism in dogs6. Endocrinopathies presenting as an emergency patientEach module will provide a short overview of current information regarding endocrine disease pathophysiology and possible presenting clinical signs, treatment options and alternatives for the poorly responsive patient.
