This course is aimed to be a refresher of the common endocrine diseases. It will be divided into the following modules: Diabetes mellitus in dogs and cats. Hyperadrenocorticism in dogs. Hyperparathyroidism and disorders of calcium. Hyperthyroidism in cats and hypothyroidism in dogs. Hypoadrenocorticism in dogs. Endocrinopathies presenting as an emergency patient. Each module will provide a short overview of current information regarding endocrine disease pathophysiology and possible presenting clinical signs, treatment options and alternatives for the poorly responsive patient.
