Clinical pathology is invaluable in helping a veterinarian reach a diagnosis, plan a treatment protocol, monitor progression of disease, assess response to therapy, and determine prognosis for small animal diseases. As well, expert Mary Anna Thrall DVM MS DipACVP(clinical pathology) will provide you with practical skills in haematology and cytology to assist with basic in-house laboratory evaluation of a patient at the optional three day on-campus workshop together with examining blood and cytological smears and interpreting data.
Course materials include a study guide, textbook, online materials and photomicrographs and interactive case material. Discussion of cases is encouraged on the class website.
