Free evening CPD talk on CT from the perspective of an orthopaedic surgeon. Duncan Barnes will begin with a brief overview of how CT works and then look at the ways in which we use it. These include the diagnosis of orthopaedic disease, the planning of orthopaedic procedures, and surgical rehearsal using computer-aided design and 3D printed bone models. Duncan will also look at the exciting developments in the printing of patient-specific implants and prostheses.7.30pm with refreshments from 7pm
