A free Small Ophthalmology Evening for Vets. Ophthalmic A&E and Cataract Refresher with our Ophthalmology Referrals Vets Ida and Vim.Ophthalmic A & EVim will be covering the management of acute ophthalmic cases and all common ocular emergencies. This will include ocular/orbital trauma and foreign bodies, emergency corneal ulcer management, acute uveitis, acute glaucoma and management of chemical/thermal/electrical ocular injury.Tutored by: Vim Kumaratunga BVSc CertVOphthal MRCVS RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary OphthalmologyCataract RefresherIda will be providing a short refresher on: - How to evaluate cataracts- Medical management of cataracts- Learning to recognise which cases are urgent in order to maximise the surgical outcomeTutored by: Ida Gilbert BVSc CertVOphthal MRCVS RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary OphthalmologyThe evening talks will run from 7.30pm 9pm with refreshments from 7pmThe order of the speakers may change and this event may overrun to allow questions and discussion.
