Over the past 20 years a plethora of new therapies have made an appearance in the field of equine orthopaedics. For busy equine practitioners who dont have the time to regularly dive into the current literature it can be difficult to establish which ones of these therapies are scientifically sound and have been found to be efficacious via clinical studies. It is furthermore very difficult to find any literature where authors actually exactly describe what therapeutic regimen they use.To participate in the On-Location Portion, attendees are required to have first worked through the corresponding online Lecture Series Advances in Equine Orthopedic Therapies':If you have already purchased the Lecture Series independently of the On-Location Portion, please contact the office on [email protected] for a voucher code to reduce the price accordingly. The following orthopaedic therapies will be discussed via an evidence-based approach and the speakers will also elaborate on their personal views on these modalities and how they use them as part of their daily clinical routine: Start Time: 7PM EST / 6PM CDT / 5PM MDT / 4PM PDTDateTime (CET)SpeakerTitleDuration1 November7PM 7:55PMLauren SchnabelThe Equine Joint At what level do therapeutics act to modify the joint environment?50 min 7:55PM 8:40PMLauren SchnabelAutologous Conditioned Serum (IRAP etc.) & Protein Solutions (ProStride etc. does it actually work?40 min3 November7PM 7:35PMScott McClureAlcohol-facilitated Ankylosis of Low-motion Joints30 min 7:35PM 8:40PMScott McClureRational Intra- and Extra-articular Corticosteroid & Hyaluronan Use60 min 8:40PM 9:20PMScott McClureNew Osteoarthritis Therapeutics like Polyacrylamide Hydrogel etc.40 min4 November7PM 7:45PMLauren SchnabelUpdate on Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapies40 min 7:45PM 8:20PMLauren SchnabelTreatment Options with Acellular Amnion30 min8 November7PM 7:55PMLauren SchnabelAutologous vs. Allogeneic Stem Cell Therapy (Arti-Cell?
