This course focusses on introducing the concept of point-of-care ultrasound for trauma, triage, tracking, treatment & total systemic evaluation (the 5 Ts of POCUS) to the general small animal practitioner (even without any experience with ultrasound). The specialists will show how point-of-care ultrasound differs from the complete ultrasonographic examination performed by diagnostic imaging specialists and how any small animal practitioner can acquire the necessary skills to use point-of-care ultrasound in everyday practice.
