About this course
Feeling nervous scanning limbs with the owner peering over your shoulder?!
This course aims to provide delegates with the confidence to scan the distal limb and detect real lesions. It will focus on the distal limb of both the forelimb and hindlimb. The tutors will guide you through how to make use of the settings on your ultrasound machine before focusing on the soft tissue structures of the distal limb.
The course is aimed at new and recent graduates, and those looking to refresh their ultrasonography skills. The morning will consist of lectures detailing scanning techniques up to and including the carpus and stifle. The afternoon will consist of three practical sessions in small groups.
This is a balanced mix of lectures and practicals. Presentations will be image rich with practical tips and techniques. You will be given plenty of time with the ultrasound probe in your hand under the guidance of the experienced tutors.
Why do this course?
