AVAILABLE FROM 1 MAY 2014
In 2014 we are offering the opportunity to purchase fully recorded Webinar Plus courses at any time of the year to suit your schedule.
Diabetes mellitus and hyperadrenocorticism are common endocrine disorders in small animal practice. Diagnosis and management however, can be challenging and misconceptions persist about optimal ways to manage these patients. This recorded Webinar Plus course will review, refresh and update your knowledge and understanding of these important disorders.
This course last ran in September 2013 and contains all of the learning material (webinars, reading material, slides, self assessment exercises) from then, but is not tutor moderated. A set of FAQs is available which represent the questions and concerns previous participants have had and the tutor responses.
Key Areas
•Diabetes fundamentals – managing the uncomplicated diabetic
•The complicated diabetic – managing ketoacidosis and patients with concurrent disease
•Diagnosis and management of hyperadrenocorticism – avoiding the traps
•Diagnosis and management of hypoadrenocorticism – recognising atypical cases and optimising long term management
