My clients are currently looking for a Anaesthesia Clinician. Salary will be dependent on experience. They are looking for a qualified veterinary anaesthetist to join their team. You will be involved in the day to day clinical tasks of anaesthetising patients, assisting other departments with analgesia and critical care, and participate in the out of hours rota. They see a wide variety of interesting cases – mainly dogs and cats but the occasional exotic and pet farm species.
They offer specialist services in anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, oncology, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, neurology, ophthalmology, cardiology and dermatology and on-site hydro- and physiotherapy. The state-of-the-art hospital provides 24/7 veterinary care, supported by a dedicated night team.

The Anaesthesia Department comprises of three Diplomates (two ECVAA and one ACVAA), one residency-trained fellow and two anaesthesia interns. They are a young team of anaesthetists who enjoy working together. The department is supported by a team of experienced theatre nurses. They provide a high standard of care through a great working relationship with other departments.

My clients offer an attractive salary and CPD package with generous holidays. The applicant must have a veterinary degree registrable. They welcome applications from Diplomates of the ECVAA or ACVAA, as well as candidates who have completed college-recognised residencies in anaesthesia. The position can be part-time or full-time.

Skills Required:
1. Residency in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia (ECVAA or ACVAA)
2. Member of the RCVS
3. Fluent English
4. Good communication skills
5. Team player

The following skills would also be beneficial:
1. Peer reviewed publications and CPD delivery portfolio at recognised events
2. Diploma from ECVAA or ACVAA
3. Passion to teach and deliver CPD
