Head of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Management.

Our client, a leading Animal Feed and Nutrition business, is looking for a new Head of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Management.

This person will be responsible for the management of the Regulatory, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Feed Safety functions for the company.

The role offers a company pension scheme, health insurance, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

For this role you will need:

A Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or Nutritional Science Degree or higher qualification.
A minimum of 5 years of quality management within an animal feed or production-related environment.
Experience in planning and managing people to KPI’s and proven experience in planning for the quality department.
A pragmatic approach with an excellent eye for detail.
Some of the responsibilities of the Head of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Management role are:

Ensuring all products are compliant with the correct legislation.
Ensuring all compliance is met to industry standards for animal feed manufacturing.
Standard operating procedure formulation.
Ensuring HACCP plans are formulated and maintained.
To ensure that new and existing formulations are in line with UFAS, FEMAS, and GMP plus requirements.
To provide on-going training to the quality team members.
To act as the lead person on company inspections.
Ensuring risk assessments are carried out on all raw materials.
