Key Account Manager - Dairy Health & Hygiene

If you are an experienced Key Account Manager with the skills to build strong commercial relationships within the agricultural industry, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Representing a business with well over five decades of supplying the livestock sector with innovative and uniquely designed solutions, you will be responsible for the management and growth of the company's largest trade accounts. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will be well supported by the marketing and commercial teams as you build on the companies growing success and reputation.
My client has continuously delivered patented, proven and greatly respected products to the agricultural industry that have maximised health and productivity on farm. In this role you will be an ambassador for the business as you forge long standing relationships with key decision makers within corporate businesses. To be successful in this role you will be able to work autonomously and take a proactive and organised approach to managing customers. You will also be an active listener who can identify any additional needs that are not being met. In addition to this, you will keep up to date with changes in the market and be strategically aware on competition.
Other requirements include:
- Proven experience as Key Account Manager
- Experience in sales and providing solution based on customers’ needs
- Excellent working knowledge of current practice and issues in dairy health, at merchant and farm level
- Ability in problem solving and negotiation
- Valid driving license
- Generous salary to reflect the importance of this role
