Veterinary Regulatory Advisor (MRCVS)

We have a rare opportunity for a qualified vet to join as a Veterinary Regulatory Advisor, within our compliance team, at our York based, Central Support Office.

An approachable colleague, they will ensure that our culture, and Operations led behaviours, are fully integrated into central policies and processes, and will advise on regulatory and professional matters, drawing upon strong experience in practice.

You will be a registered MRCVS vet, keen to provide a practical perspective, built during time in Small Animal, and potentially in Farm and Equine, practice. A technical knowledge of the UK veterinary regulatory landscape and requirements will be essential, including at least a working understanding of the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme. Prior experience of risk management activities in a practice setting would also be advantageous

There will be the opportunity to write and help create resources for our 140 varied practices, travelling occasionally, and also communicating extensively with professional bodies. The role will report to our Director of Regulatory and Professional Affairs, who will be happy to receive applications, and discuss the opportunity further.
