Job Overview: 18-month racing internship

A combination of specialized training in evaluation, diagnostic procedures and imaging relevant to the Thoroughbred racehorse prior to and during training. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a team servicing racing yards with the knowledge and skill set developed under referral hospital and race yard conditions. This position promotes the development of hands on experience from day 1 with increasing case responsibility encouraged during the expert training period. The candidate would join a collaborative team with international experience.

Candidates should have 1-year minimum experience following graduation and be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons or be eligible to do so and attain suitable visa status as required. Candidates will also be supported in attaining further qualifications. Continuing education is fully funded with additional substantial benefits appropriate to the development of a Thoroughbred racing clinician trained to an advanced level.
