As a Locum Veterinary Surgeon, you will work a mix of routine consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures. You will be part of a shared weekend rota with inpatient on-call duties overnight. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vet looking for flexible locum work in a friendly and professional environment.
Start Date: November 2024 Ongoing Duration
Hours: 8.5-hour shifts (including an hour for lunch)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care, including consultations, surgeries, and inpatient treatment.
- Work independently and confidently in both surgical and medical cases.
- Share weekend rota responsibilities, including inpatient care and occasional on-call duties overnight.
- Maintain accurate patient records and deliver clear communication with clients.
Working Hours:
- 8.5-hour shifts with an hour for lunch.
- Shifts range between 8 AM 7 PM.
- Shared weekend rota with on-call responsibilities for inpatients overnight.
Requirements:
- MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Proven experience in consultations, surgery, and inpatient care.
- Confidence in managing cases independently, including overnight inpatients.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
