The role
Due to growth, we have a new vacancy for an Area Manager to join our Northern Ireland region.
You’ll deliver exceptional leadership and care to your colleagues in practice, ensuring they have the support and guidance to enable them to deliver outstanding levels of care.
Reporting directly to the Regional Director, you’ll lead the efficient, effective, day-to-day delivery of exceptional care across your practice network. You will work closely with regional leadership teams and practice staff ensuring the delivery of a one team approach.
Summary of role:
This is an Operational Leadership and Management position within our Clinical Operations field leadership team requiring regular travel between branches.
You will be responsible for the daily operational performance of the practices within your area to include close management of practice leadership teams – Lead Vets and Head Nurse.
You will need to ensure the delivery of excellent clinical standards and care in the practices within your area.
You will follow Medivet policies and procedures and ensure they are implemented across your region (e.g. Medivet preferred drug policy).
You will line manage the Lead Vets and be a part of succession planning for your area.
You act as a brand ambassador for Medivet, work closely with your team and management to ensure brand reputation is always upheld.
You will work with our HR Business Partners, HR adviser and Recruitment Partners to ensure we recruit, engage & retain great colleagues whilst adhering to HR policy & procedures.
The role is working 40 hours per week, salary £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience plus car or car allowance.

Skills and experience
To apply for this role you must:• be an experienced RVN with a history of leading a team or experience in a Veterinary Practice Manager role.• have a full driving license• be willing to travel to practices within your area
