The Role
Summerhill Vets have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Manager to join their fantastic team.
Day to Day duties will include management of the office and finance and overseeing the team. The successful candidate will also be involved in marketing and business development as well as ensuring high ethics and professional standards are maintained. Other responsibilities include:
- Lead on non-clinical matters at Blackwood and Caerphilly practices
- Support Functions
- Staff rotas
- Training for non-clinical staff
- Ensure cash security
- Debt Collection
We are flexible on work patterns and can accommodate 4 or 5 days between 30 and 39 hours a week. The salary is up to £30,000 depending on experience.
About Us
Our fantastic practice is based in Blackwood, on a high street with plenty of shopping facilities. We are just 22 miles from Cardiff beaches and have excellent links to local train/bus stations in Newport.
The practice is kitted out with excellent facilities including a dedicated cat waiting area, a dental machine, X-ray, ultrasound clinics and client parking.
By far the best part of our practice is our team, we have 3 FTE vets, 4.25 FTE registered veterinary nurses and 7 support staff. Some of our team are certificate holders in cardiology and abdominal imaging, giving us the chance to expand the services we can offer.
