The primary role of the Veterinary Radiographer will be to run and coordinate the busy x-ray service, ensuring high quality radiographs are obtained, aquiring radiographs on a day-to-day basis, to obtain high-quality diagnostic studies in a safe and time-efficient manner as well as providing radiography training to nurses and interns and ensuring radiation safety measures are upheld. There will also be some opportunity to run fluoroscopy, CT and MRI.

SCVS is a multidisciplinary veterinary referral hospital situated in the New Forest National Park, just outside Ringwood. We have a busy and varied caseload, providing the very highest standards of care to our small animal patients.

Applicants should be qualified diagnostic radiographers holding either a BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography, or other relevant degree / qualification. Prior experience in veterinary radiography is desirable, but not essential.
