Veterinary Receptionist

We are looking for an experienced, confident and friendly Veterinary Receptionist to join our busy small animal RCVS accredited branch in Hartley Wintney.

We are a small independent family run group of 4 practices in Hampshire. With a loyal client base, all our staff are passionate about offering a great service for both the animals and their owners.

As a Veterinary Receptionist you be the first point of contact for clients. This is a customer facing role where you will build an excellent rapport with clients. The candidate must be able to empathise with pet owners in what can be a sensitive time for them. As well as the ability to multi task in a reactive environment, you will need to demonstrate strong organisational skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Effective communication, numeracy, time management and computer literacy skills are also essential.

You will be joining our team of 3 part time receptionists, 2 FTE vets, 4 Registered Nurses, 2 Student Nurses and a Nursing Assistant.

Other benefits include no OOH, 5.6-week holiday per annum (pro rata), cost price treatment for 2 staff pets and state pension. This is a part time role and candidates must be able to commit to a variety of 8am starts and 7pm finishes with a 1:3 Sunday rota (8.30am-4pm).

Candidates must have full driving licence and own car as travel between our clinics may be needed on an ad hoc basis to cover annual leave/sickness.
