Full Time Veterinary Receptionist Needed - SE3

Our busy, 100% small animal, veterinary surgery is looking for a highly motivated receptionist with excellent communication and customer service skills.

We are looking for a receptionist who will be able to:

Ensure customers experience a high level of customer service

Prioritise their work load

Answering the telephones promptly and dealing with queries or redirecting appropriately

Advising clients on latest offers as well services available

Register clients, make appointments, process clients on arrival and updating records and clinical data

Handling cash, credit/debit card and cheque payments

Maintaining the reception & waiting room areas as well as the consultation rooms

Some animal handling

Assessing stock levels and placing an order as well as unpacking an order and stock rotating new stock with old

Be able to keep calm under pressure

This position will suit an experienced receptionist with previous veterinary experience, who also has a love for animals! Previous experience of working within a veterinary environment would be advantageous but not essential, as training can be given to the right person.
