We are looking for a full time Senior Veterinary Receptionist with a passion for animal welfare at our very busy Canning Town, East London Clinic. The role will cover Monday to Friday. This is an exciting role which includes all the usual duties for a Veterinary Receptionist plus trying to ensure as many animals as possible receive veterinary treatment in these very challenging times. Working with us you can have a direct impact on the lives and welfare of animals in London many of whose owners are unable to afford private treatment and no longer qualify for treatment from the major charities. You will help to build good relationships with our clients, and deal with the vets diary management, booking in and general enquiries. You will be IT literate and a confident user of microsoft office and have good financial skills. You will complete daily banking and reconciliation with exempalary attention to detail and work well with the veterinary team. You will need to be helpful, polite and show empathy towards our clients whatever their circumstances but you will not be a push over as you may also have to deal assertively with some more challenging situations.
The clinic is very busy and we think it would be very difficult to carry out this role without previous experience working in a busy veterinary practice. If you are an experienced vet nurse who is looking for a change of direction or a receptionist with lots of experience we would love to hear from you.
