We are looking for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our experienced team. You will be required to join a rotating clinical duties roster, dividing your time between operating theatres, patient care, and consulting rooms. There is no out-of-hours requirements. You will work up to 2 evening surgeries a week (6pm/7pm finish) and 2 Saturdays (until 2pm) every 7 weeks (approx.). You will work an average of 39 hours per week and receive one half day off a week.
We are a well-established practice in North West Sheffield, close to the edge of the Peak District National Park with good travel links. We have 4 spacious consulting rooms, 3 operating theatres with prep rooms, digital x-rays and dental x-rays, modern ultrasound scanner, and multiparameter monitors. We have a fully equipped in house laboratory. There are spacious kennel rooms and separate cat ward. We also operate an established cardiology referral service.
Applicants should be a registered member of the RCVS (RVN), new graduates will be considered. Experience with anaesthetic monitoring is essential. Training will be provided for any procedures you are not familiar with. Enthusiasm for nurse led consultations is desirable.
