The role

We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual with a strong passion for client and animal care to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist.

The duties of the Veterinary Receptionist include, but are not limited to: prompt and efficient telephone answering and service, dealing with routine client queries, making appointments, taking payments, submitting insurance claims, cashing up at end of day and end of week, banking, conversing with clients and staff members, taking and relaying messages, cleaning, stock taking, inputting laboratory results onto client records, maintaining and promoting H&S in the reception area and other parts of the practice as required, sending and responding to emails, etc.

This position will involve working across practices in Central London including Hyde Park, Kensington, Parsons Green and Fulham.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a busy team and possess the confidence to work alone when required; you will have a flexible and adaptable approach to work, happy to get stuck in where ever needed.

•Previous work experience within a veterinary practice is desirable (voluntary or paid) along with a willingness to learn; work experience with animals would also be beneficial.

This is a mobile role between the Medivet branches in the Kensington Area, including our wonderful practices in Hyde Park, Parsons Green and the newly built Kensington Hospital.
