An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team here at Robson Veterinary Hospital, Laurencekirk. This role would be perfect for a nurse who is confident with general nursing duties but also has an interest in running nurse clinics and consulting.
The role is a permanent, full-time position requiring some on call and residential out of hours work, staying in a well-equipped practice flat. The rota would be 1 night a week and 1 in 5 weekends. Our overnight on call is provided by Vets Now so overnight care would be of inpatients only. Following a weekend on call, you have the Friday off, allowing a long weekend.
Salary for the role is up to £30,000 depending on experience.
Our Laurencekirk Hospital has Tier 3 RCVS Hospital status. The hospital is fully equipped with dental Xray, endoscopy, lab facilities and a laser machine. We are located between the coast and the mountains which is ideal for outdoor sports, hiking and plenty of dog walking. We offer a good work life balance with time off after working weekends and a generous holiday allocation.
