About the role
We are looking for a part-time or full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to work across 4-5 days a week in our mixed practice. This includes working 1 week in 5 on call and covering a short Saturday morning clinic from 11:00–12:30. Working from Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:30-18:30 dependent on shift. This role will include general nursing duties, including anaesthetic monitoring/nurse clinics and reception support. In this role, you will be required to work in our Arbroath and our Forfar practice.
We are an established mixed practice that has been providing veterinary care to the Angus area over many successful years. Located in the idyllic surroundings of Angus, we are not far from major cities such as Dundee or Aberdeen. We are a tight-knit team who enjoy working hard and having fun along the way. Our continuous investment into the clinic includes recent purchases of a blood analyser, new x-ray machine, new ultrasound, and new dental machines. We are a training practice, as we want to be able to support upcoming nurses achieve their dreams.
We are a 4 vet practice, and will be 5 vet when we take on a new graduate vet in September 2021. We have 3 nurses, 2 ACAs, 3 receptionists, 1 administrator, and a PM. We believe in an open and honest culture to ensure we create a harmonious, team-working environment.
We are looking for someone with great enthusiasm for their job, with a caring and passionate personality, someone with the motivation to improve and progress the experience for the client and patient through the services that we can offer. Candidate must be RCVS registered with solid experience within veterinary practice. Experience of inpatient care, good team working skills and the ability to organise and prioritise are required.
