Head Veterinary Nurse required for a busy first opinion practice in Berkshire. Beautiful large spacious modern hospital, the role will be to start in the next few months (to be confirmed) – ongoing for up to a year to cover maternity leave. Monday to Friday 8.30 to 4.30pm with no OOH. The role involves lots of variety, with night duties for in patients, but VetsNow take the phone calls after 9pm weekdays and 5pm weekends which gives the best of both worlds as the nurses still get to experience night duties but are able to concentrate on inpatients only overnight. A Nurse training practice so there is the option to continue clinical coach training if desired.
The general nurse rota includes;
• Dispense – 8.15am to 6pm (1.5 hours lunch)
• Theatre – 8am to 5pm
• 2nd Ops – 8am to 5.15pm
• Kennels – 9.30am to 6.30pm
• Recovery – 8am to 5pm
• Night Duty – 4pm to 10am
• Weekend – 8am to 8am (24hour shift)
