The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join our outgoing team at Easipetcare Reading! We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual to lead a team of nurses and help drive the practice forwards. This role could lend itself to someone with clinical leadership experience or an RVN looking for their first Head Nurse role!
Here at Easipetcare, your general day-to-day nursing duties will include; theatre work, medical nursing, nurse clinics, and helping with reception if there is a need. You'll take pride in the delivery of exceptional clinical quality and care, encourage a progressive clinical culture, and ensure Easipetcare policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to by all of your team. We will also support you in additional responsibilities such as student nurse training if this is an interest.
You will work closely with the Head Vet and Practice Principal to ensure that our core values are met and that gold standard care is provided to all patients that come to the practice.
Typically, this role is 5 days a week, for a 40-hour working week. With no out of hours or on-call, and only 1:3 weekends.
The salary for this role is up to £30,000 depending on experience.

Our friendly team consists of 2 vets, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 2 Animal Nursing Assistants, all supported by superbly efficient receptionists.
