VetPro Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal team at a practice in Berkshire. The role is the full mix of veterinary nursing, no day is the same. The practice actively encourages their nurses to fully use their skills taking radiographs, taking bloods samples, and starting intravenous fluids in addition to the more routine tasks. You will also take care of in-patients, nurse clinics, monitoring of anaesthesia, assisting in theatre, stock ordering & control. A normal working week is 40 hours, Monday – Friday with shifts ranging from 8am to 5pm and 10am – 7pm. Saturday morning are 1 in 4/5 and this is paid as overtime plus there is no OOH. However, the practice is open to flexible hours to suit the right candidate. You will be joining a team made up of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 support team members and currently building the team to 5 RVNs. The ideal candidate is someone who takes joy in coming to work and offering excellent patient care, utilising fear free techniques.
