Part Time Registered Veterinary Nurse Required At Clifton Vets In Bristol

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team on a maternity cover contract. The role runs Monday to Thursday, 08.30 -6.30 two days a week and 08.30-4.30 two days. There is a mixture of in-patient care, anaesthesia and assisting with procedures, as well as admits, discharges, etc. You will work alongside three vets, one nurse and an assistant. The role is all first opinion but is carried out to a high standard.

We have a team of three enthusiastic vets, working in the beautiful area of Clifton. We have digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and in-house lab. There are good surgical facilities and a varied caseload with many cases worked up extensively. We now work up ophthalmology cases to an advanced standard. We have an ophthalmology Certificate holder and now work up ophthalmology cases to an advanced standard. Fiona, one of our vets, is working towards a Cert.AVP as well.

We require an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who is a good all-rounder capable of engaging in all aspects of veterinary nursing. They will have excellent standards and be keen to improve their skills and learn new ones. We need a people person who can engage with our clients as well as with our patients.
